Light snow will slowly spread into south central Wisconsin from west to east this evening. The snow is expected mainly south of Highway 18 with the heaviest accumulations near the Illinois border. The bulk of the snow in far south central Wisconsin will fall this evening before midnight...while areas in far southeast Wisconsin could see the snow linger into early Saturday. By the time the snow ends Saturday morning...an additional 1 to 3 inches will be possible across Lafayette...Green...Rock... Walworth...Racine...and Kenosha counties. Closer to Highway 18...an additional inch of snow is possible with very little or no snow expected north of this line. Due to earlier snow and the potential for more snow tonight...motorists should be careful while traveling and look out for slick and snow covered roads.
